Litigate environmental and energy cases with a focus on administrative dockets to decarbonize the electric sector. Help design and implement legal and advocacy strategies. Coordinate with campaign staff, coalition partners, and outside counsel.

• Own the full hearing process for Social Security Disability cases.
• Review medical records, build case theories, and draft pre-hearing briefs.
• Represent clients at SSA hearings and drive post-hearing follow-ups.

The Agency Attorney will perform Department legal work under supervision, with some latitude for independent judgment. Duties include prosecuting violations at OATH remotely and in person, preparing legal documents, identifying evidence, notifying supervisors of issues, conducting research, undertaking special projects, and traveling between Department offices.
